One year ago today, I started this little blog! I am amazed that I made it this long, actually! But I am so proud of myself for sticking it out! As a celebration, I would like to share some of the things I’ve learned in a year of blogging.
I have to make my life interesting so I have interesting things to write about.
Once I have finished writing about the things that I do on a regular basis, I need new things to write about. So I’ve learned that I need to try new things, go new places, and think outside the box to continue to have material to write about.
I’m getting the hang of social media.
Except for Twitter. I just tweet and hope someone sees it. If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate your input!
I’ve learned that Instagram stories are a lot of fun! I haven’t had the courage to go live on Instagram or Facebook though!
My friends and family are incredibly supportive.
My husband is always trying to find ways to network for me. There are several family members and friends that read every post, like them on Facebook, share posts, and support this blog in so many different ways! And I couldn’t be more thankful for all of you!
I could actually create a website!
I am not really that tech-savvy. And when I started messing around with WordPress and tried to set up a website, I got very frustrated. But I just kept clicking on things and researching until I got it to do what I wanted it to! There are still many more features of WordPress I need to explore, but it will come with time and experimentation!
I have so much more to learn!
Even though I have learned a bunch of things about blogging, there is so much more that I have no idea about!
Just for fun, here are links for some of my most viewed blog posts!
